You can surf through our catalog, select the desired product and place an order or an inquiry by providing information required. Once you place the inquiry or the order, one of our sales persons will contact you within 24 hours.

How often do we update the product catalogue?

The BTE International catalogue content is up to date to the bulk stocks that we are able to provide within the 24 hours after the initial inquiry or the order which has been placed by our buyers. We will add all the new products we import to the category accordingly.

What is the TIEP certificate?

Temporary Importation for Export Processing (TIEP) Scheme allows manufacturers who manufacture goods for export or indirect export to import inputs without payment of Fiscal Levies. By relieving manufacturers cum exporters from domestic taxes it is expected to enhance the competitiveness of export production and encourage expansion of production capacities and exports. How can BTE eliminate microbiological issues and physical contaminations?

BTE is utilizing state of the art sterilization and optical colour sorting systems with advance technological means.

How to keep a product in premium quality after we deliver them?

BTE recommends its buyers to store the product in a temperature controlled environment, in its original vacuum-packed packaging. Once the pack is opened BTE recommends re-sterilization of the left over product for which BTE will provide technical assistance.

How long it will take for a new order to be delivered?

BTE strives to deliver all your orders within 24 hours. However given unavoidable circumstances if any delays happen, the delivery window would stretch for 72 hours maximum.

Am I eligible to get a price discount for custom duty exemption (TIEP, SVAT)?

BTE requires your TIEP exemptions certificate and SVAT certificate for which BTE will provide you the relevant price discount.

What is the SVAT certificate?

SVAT or Simplified Value Added Tax scheme is implemented with effect from April 1, 2011, in terms of section 2(2) of the Value Added Tax Act No, 14 of 2002. Why BTE wants to share this technology and products with other exporters in Sri Lanka?

Having imported these products from multinational companies around the world, BTE found that the product with the right quality will not reach Sri Lanka. As a result of which, BTE has invested heavily in state of the art systems to produce products of the highest standards right here in Sri Lanka to reduce freight costs and process costs.  BTE will share this benefit with the industry to share the access with all Sri Lankan exporters to the international markets.

Will the product get infested during storage at our warehouse?

We use advance technological means to vacuum pack the de-hydrated natural ingredients and store them in temperature controlled environment to keep our products in their premium quality without any attenuation of said quality. Hence we can guarantee the quality of our products even after the storing period in our warehouse.
